Why are some Nintendo Switch games SFV and not XCI?

If someone could shed some light as to why when I've downloaded "Hyrule Warriors" it is in SFV format as opposed to XCI?

edit:- And will they work ok on my Switch when my SX Pro arrives??

Hey, its no big deal. Infact a lot of people get the checksum confused with a normal game. So its all good. Please do not be to hard on yourself.
