Why doesn't anyone use Torrent for distributing games?

I've just got into PS4 Jailbreaks and PS4 piracy a couple of days ago after getting 9.0 and it's so strange and annoying to see everyone use those filesharing sites that require you to wait 10 hours or are filled with ads and other irritating stuff like low download speeds (In some cases it goes down to 70kb/s) when there's the option of Torrent clients with better speeds, easier access and overall feeling less like a malware dump.

So like - what's the reason? I don't mean to offend anyone or try to force my rules over anybody but I legit don't get it.

if people donate , we don't have to use those sites to pay the host EVERY MONTH, THIS IS WHY WE USE THOSE SITES

There are loads of torrents on sites like rarbg.to and 1337x.to, but not enough people have jailbroken PS4s so they're poorly seeded.
