okay one last thing can you take a screen shot of the files on the SD card im 50/50 I beleave its the SD card update what will be needed to play sadly.

Okay yeah it should be the update for the sd card or maybe the new eshop but im 90% sure its a SD update seems you have kept the switch in airplane mode it could only be that problem i doupt it'll be card banning or anything like that.
So you may well need to download it what's worse that could happen maybe a ban from online services
Ball is in your court but from what i can clearly think of as i haven't had no issue but i did get a promp for a card update when i first got into jailbreaking the switch and all was fine and i know they updated the eshop.
