Are there any ways to acheive playing on an emulator with these types of files?

I have created a post under Tutorial if anyone mind to clarify if its possible or not so we can avoid having the same question over and over in all posts.
Thread name -NINTENDO SWITCH EMULATOR- How to use XCI or NSP file on PC ?
viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1879

Thanks for the help.
Not yet. The only Switch emulator I know of is Yuzu emulator and no games are playable at all. All it does is boot simple games like Stardew Vallery and One-Two Switch.

Hi, very very new to the community, (literally just found out and purchased the license today), I think i've mostly figured it out... except, how do u update the XCI to the latest version? I notice there's an NSP file provided, but im at a loss as to how to use it? Also, thank you very very much for the upload <3

EDIT: Omg no nvm im just stupid. i forgot to put project octopath into cart mode :D THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP
To update, you need the update .nsp file. Use a homebrew program called "DevMenu" to install .NSP files. Here is a tutorial for installing game updates, (DLC in the future), and digital-only games.

DOWNLOAD DevMenu (download this folder, extract using 7zip or WinRAR, place the folder to your sd card ".../sxos/titles" directory):

Here is a video guide if the above link confuses you (this man does the guide above and shows everything):

DO NOT UPDATE USING NINTENDO. YOU RISK BEING BANNED.
Hi thank you so much this helped a lot. however after installing the nsp update file it says i need the software in order to play. My guess is that i need both NSP of the game AND the Update? I installed the .xci file and tried to update with the .nsp file. Correct me if im wrong? but thanks to you I'm running other eshop titles <3

Yes, of course. The game is required to utilize the update.

Make sure you are installing the game correctly. Refer to this quick guide how to install and play games on SX OS.

If game not showing up at all in album selection, refer to this guide.

For both .xci and .nsp files, it freezes at system language screen. Any ideas?

Edit: Never mind, it started working correctly.
